Description
The vaudevillian-turned actor was a hit in the silent era and early talkies due, in part, to his fortunate teaming with a young writer named Frank Capra. His ego getting the best of him, Langdon thought he could go it alone and dumped Capra, and then went on to a career that had absolutely nowhere to go but down.
