Mix was one of the premier cowboys of the 30's, and we consider this probate file a tremendous find. Mix's will is 15 detailed pages, and even includes a bequest to his "faithful horse and pal, Tony." Included are a 2 page Petition for Probate, a waiver by Mix's wife to be appointed administratrix, and 7 very detailed pages of Inventory and Appraisement of the estate. This a conformed copy of his will, and does not contain Mix's signature.
