PETER CUSHING

A mainstay in the Hammer Horror films of the 60's, Cushing made a lasting impression as an evil doer in the STAR WARS trilogy. He left behind a simple 3 page will (but lots of bequests) plus the Grant for Probate. Death certificate included.

TERRY THOMAS

Another of Britain's famous funny men, Thomas left behind a short, simple 3 page will (with an indistinguishable signature, due to the debilitating disease that took his life), plus the Grant for Administration.

BERT WHEELER

The stage, screen, vaudeville and television actor (and sometimes screenwriter) was half of the comedy team of Wheeler & Woolsey, and left a simple 2 page will to which we add the 2 page Petition for Probate.

SIR JOHN GIELGUD

Sir John was a highly distinguished and prolific performer who is considered to be one of the finest actors of his generation (one of our favorites: his portrayal of Hobson, Dudley Moore's valet in ARTHUR). His four page will is made up primarily of generous bequests that say a lot about the man. British Grant for Probate is also included.

DESMOND LLEWELYN

Though he had a long and storied career spanning some 60 years, it was certainly his role as "Q" in many of the James Bond films where he left his mark. This simple three page last will and testament provides solely for his sons, never mentioning his wife Pamela.

Sir Christopher Frank Carandini Lee CBE was an English actor, singer, and author. With a career spanning nearly 70 years, Lee initially portrayed villains and became best known for his role as Count Dracula in a sequence of wonderful old Hammer Horror films. Mr. Lee left a very simple two page will to which we add the British Grant for Probate.

ROSS ALEXANDER

Another customer request. Alexander was a popular film star in the 30's until he ended his own life with a gun in 1937. Alexander left no will, but what we offer are 14 pages of claims (some showing funeral expense), a tax appraisal of the estate and the published notice to creditors. An interesting find.

DON AMECHE

The wonderful Don Ameche was a member of the old guard with a career in films spanning more than 50 years and had recently found a new audience with such films as TRADING PLACES, THINGS CHANGE, and FOLKS. When he died in late 1993 he left a 6 page will to which we have added a 4 page petition by his son.

ROSCOE "FATTY" ARBUCKLE

Silent film great, who was left ruined by his sensationalized trial in the "party death" of starlet Virginia Rapp. A simple but interesting 13 page file, showing Arbuckle to have died without a will and absolutely penniless. Death certificate also included.

LIONEL ATWILL

One of our favorite bad guys from horror and mystery films of the 30's & 40's. Atwill's 1945 will is 4 pages and with it we include 2 pages of funeral info, as well as a copy of the death certificate.
