Dekker often played aggressive character roles, and was memorable as the double-crossing gang leader in the 1946 classic THE KILLERS (though our personal favorite of his many films would have to be DR. CYCLOPS). Dekker died a most bizarre death, having been found in his bathtub bound, gagged, and with numerous obscene words written in several places on his body. This very strange (and very detailed) autopsy report is 12 pages in length.
